Details
Colts will be invited to the adult club night once they are deemed to have reached a certain standard, and generally over the age of 14 or 15. The current cost for colts is a very reasonable £2.50, payable in block fee instalments.
All colts will continue to have the option of coming down to the South Birmingham Junior Badminton Club, which runs at 2-4.30pm every Sunday.
Progression
to full junior status
Upon reaching an acceptable standard (rather than age dependent), junior colts will be invited into the adult club full time, attaining full junior member status. The committee will decide this at one of its regular meetings. This will enable the juniors to play games with the adults until the end of the evening. The cost for full junior membership is £20 per quarter, providing you are still at school/college/University or studying. This allows you to play with the adults throughout the night from 8 to 10.30pm.
