Junior League 2011-2012
We are
entering a team again this year to play in the Worcs Junior League, please note
below the details of where and when matches will take place.
If you are
not available for any of the dates please let Phil know at least 2 weeks before
any match date, so team of 4 players
can be chosen subject to squad players availability.
League
details:
Venue:
The Ryland Centre, New Road, Bromsgrove, B60 2JS.
Time:
11.00am start to 13.00pm (2 hour match)
Format:4
team players, playing
singles and doubles, best of 3 games to 21 points no setting, Feather shuttles.
Cost:
SBJB will pay the match fees(which is £12 per match), so players do not have to
pay any match fees.
Clothing:
You must wear either club shirts or sport tops, shorts or tracksuit bottoms,
sports trainers, no football shirts or ordinary clothing or jeans. You need to behave
at the match as you are representing your club.
PHIL
WILL ADVISE ON FORTHCOMING MATCHES AND WILL ASSESS THE OTHER TEAMS PLAYING
ABILITIES IN THE LEAGUE, PLAYERS NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR LONG GAMES AND BE
STRONG ENOUGH TO PLAY AT A REASONABLE COMPETITIVE LEVEL.

There will
be club coach at every match, we will endeavour to get at least one match for
all team squad players,but this will dependent on the strength of other opposing
teams, so players can compete against similar age groups/abilities.
