West Midlands Performance Centre is holding its official launch day on Saturday 5^th December 2009 at Dame Elizabeth Cadbury Sports Centre, Wood brooke Road, Bournville, B30 1UL

·       Exhibition games by the Performance Centre Talent group players

·       Game challenges against some of ENGLANDS top international players

·       Performance Centre Presentations

·       Local Media Coverage

·       Information Stand

Performance Centres play a pivotal role in achieving the following:

• Develop Badminton as a sport for all and encourage the best players to succeed
• Provide Talent Identification system for new and existing players
• Links with schools, sport partnerships and other local clubs
• Quality environment that’s develops players coaches officials and volunteers
• Highest standard of coaches and professionalism in delivering high quality coaching programmes
• Links to High Performance centres and BADMINTON England ’s World Class Programmes
